This is an interesting show about old farming practices and equipment. What is a Thresher and how is it used in farming yesterday and today? You will see old farming equipment/tractors at work in a friendly small farming community in the heartland of america, (Northwest Kansas).

I am here at a non festival time all alone. It is the definition of peaceful. If I could live somewhere like this at this exact temperature (80) year round it would be no contest. I am traveling in a motorhome with 2 dogs and we have enjoyed exploring. I have also set my chair in the shade by the sod house to knit. What a deal for $15-20 donation. Thanks so much. The Steam Engine Show was very fun. Activities packed each day with something for everyone. Local churches provided food for sale, there was a parade at 1:30 daily, museums & displays galore. Don’t miss this!

A true Kansas experience not to be missed. Year round perfect Harvest Hosts as well. Bucolic setting where endless horizon of fields meet open skies. Learn about the history of farming with museums, hundreds of antique equipment, tractors, plows, trucks etc. In the July event visit 40 or so hangars while attending shows. The owners are kind and welcoming and allow guests freedom and relaxation on their BIG slice of paradise. Thank you for your hospitality on my road trip Harvest Host stopover! 🙏🏼
