A very iconic burger and fries. The difference is this is a very good basic burger. The fries are perfect. The pie was very good. If you are looking for old school good
Good place, good location as we were traveling from KC to CO.
The food was pretty good, standard diner food. I'm glad they didn't use a pound of butter to cook my eggs.
I didn't care for how the bacon was microwaved. I also felt uncomfortable as when we walked in, the girl who greeted us took a picture of my husband. It was quite obvious.
The young employees are very nice. BUT YESTERDAY my husband got biscuits and gravy and it sat on the counter for a long while and when they did bring it , it was cold. But other then that the food is really good for young people cooking it.
I was disappointed that we were told this place had good home cooking. When we decided to try it out, I didn't see that much diversity on the menu or many dishes I would consider "home cooking". We ordered breakfast, and it was just a tiny step up from a waffle house, right down to the plastic plates, except for the bacon. I give 5-stars to the bacon alone because it was excellent! The hash browns were too sparse. They should be more densely packed together, so you get your money's worth. The whole place seems to be run by teenage girls which is good to see young people, such responsible, hard workers! Check the hours before you go because they close really early.
