Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in staying at The River Bottom. This property is 132 acres of prairie land, trees, a pond, a river, creeks, and wildlife. We can accommodate one RV with electricity hookups but no water hookups. We can host van lifers or people who want to drive in and hike to a primitive camp spot. We have a fire pit and a lovely seating area near the house. The rest of the land is primitive, so you can park and hike in the property to find a nice spot to camp out. There is minimal light pollution, and stargazing is a must! If you're quiet enough, you might see some deer or other incredible wildlife. There are several excellent options if you stay for one night or a couple of nights.
Once you drive through the entrance gate, you can park your vehicle near the host's house and start your hike or hike to find a primitive campsite or continue on the main road and take the first left to enter The Grove camping area. That is where you can find a comfortable location for your camper van or trailer or pitch a tent.
Badass dive bar! The out back area is awesome! Have mosquito candles at the tables etc. The bartender Chelsea is such a sweetheart and she makes sure you’re taken care of! Good Vibes for sure!
Oh! Make sure if ya go, you say Krystal told you to ask what the sign behind the bar means 😉Thank me later!
Great place to chill with friends family. Bartenders are super friendly & helpful to your needs. Love going here every Friday night.
The bartender was on point and just an awesome girl... loved her face tattoo. Very cool place!!!
Cute little hole in the wall where you can chill with friends, play pool, listen to live bands some nights, karaoke on others. The bartender, Amanda is super awesome and even has some of her own signature drinks. Definitely recommend if you aren’t into the busy bar scene but still like to go somewhere to have a drink.
Nice bar, great environment. Awesome people. Pool tables, stage with great music from bands.
