Buena Vista is a one-of-a-kind boutique resort located in the heart of the HIll Country. The campground features 35 RV sites, 3 cabins, an event center with a full kitchen and living area, a large outdoor pavilion with grills and firepits, a super-clean bathhouse with coin-operated laundry, a playground, a petting zoo, a fishing hole, a large dog park, a seasonal swimming hole, a walking path, and MORE! All of this comes with beautiful views of the adjoining 325-acre Safari stocked with over 25 species of exotic animals! (Safari tickets are sold separately from Lodging.)
Had amazing time over Thanksgiving holiday! everyone was so welcoming and extremely easy check in!! Loved the petting zoo and the drive thru safari! Kids and adults both were entertained! We will be back!!
This RV park was full of surprises. We had a great view of the full moon rising and clear skies for star gazing. The animals were our favorite part. We also were very surprised and happy with the playground, game room and petting zoo. I can't wait to return.
Great place to stay! A slight mix up on arrival was quickly and cheerfully remedied and we had a perfect stay here! Loved the safari too!
We stayed at this delightful attraction for one night on our way to south Texas for the winter. We were pulling a 33ft. travel trailer and stayed in a pull through site. Customer service was so very helpful from booking our stay to directing us to our site. We had a very lovely conversation with the young lady in the office and found out we had similar hobbies. It was a cool and damp evening when we arrived so we did not get a chance to feed the animals. The area was quiet and peaceful. We will be going back there to visit when we have more time, possibly on our way back home in the spring. We highly recommend Buena Vista Wildlife Safari and RV Park.
My family had a BLAST!!! We rented the "blue wildebeest cabin" since it was pet friendly, and it was absolutely adorable. The safari drive thru didn't disappoint, we seen every single animal that was advertised, although not all of them were interested in coming up to the vehicle. The camels and the ostrich we're my absolutely favorite! The petting zoo was also its own little adventure...they had goats, sheep, pot belly pigs, and llamas. One of the white llamas kept spitting, so we avoided him 😅
The entire trip (5 hours one way for us) was absolutely worth it, and very reasonably priced for as family as large as mine!
