First year to go the Orr Family Farm and it was great! Plenty of activities to do for the whole family or for a date. Most things are included in the general admission cost, while some activities require additional purchases. There is food, drinks, snacks, and plenty of photo opportunities. The train ride and hay rides are fun. The pumpkins were awesome and not too overpriced. We would gladly go back!
The pumpkin patch experience was great. Very family orientated but still it did have some adult things to do. Lots of cute sections to take photos. The food was very good different kinds a little for everyone. Plus the price were not bad. The fudge was so good at the little shop. The only bad thing was you mostly had to pay with card.
We had so much fun on our glamping trip! So much to do and so relaxing. We spent over two hours on the “farm” playing and feeding animals and then spent the evening by the fire cooking and relaxing. The teepee was a good size and had adequate lighting and heating. The bathrooms are close by and your family gets their own private bathroom. Bathroom is fully equipped and clean, def not an outhouse feel. Staff was really professional and nice. The farm was well maintained and so were the camp grounds. My only recommendation is to bring extra blankets and towels from home. The room did get cold and they gave us one towel each but if you use the spa you’ll need another towel. Overall we had a great time and recommend
We didn't stay at Orr Farms lodging, and this popped up for me to review our visit, but seems some of questions are specifically for the lodging. We went for the 1st time to see what was different from the other pumpkin patch we go to regularly. There was lots to love, and a few things we didn't like. Walking was easier and the entire farm seemed more organized. We were there for about 4 hours and still didn't do everything! The corn maze was a REAL MAZE that you could get lost in for a brief time! But don't worry, it won't take long to figure out how to get out! If there is a specific attraction you want to do, maybe call before going to make sure it's running/working, as the train was not running when we got there and sign said it wouldn't run for rest of the day. It was kind of disappointing. However, the hayride still ran! Also, the canon blasters have 8 total, but on TWO worked, so waiting in line was longer than expected. (I noted my safety and food things specifically at those categories below.) Overall, it still was the best pumpkin patch we'd been to and not sure why we hadn't gone before. But note, you will NOT get a free pumpkin with your admission.
The carousel has seen better days and needs maintenance or to be replaced, but the kids love it. My favorite part was the many photo opportunities. I didn’t bother getting overpriced food or souvenirs. We survived on coke bottles. They were out of Dr.Pepper and many of the soda fountains were out of order. The drinking fountains don’t work and water is overpriced. The cookies are very soft. The kids loved the zip line, hay ride, pony ride, and playing in the corn pit. The train wasn’t operating. We enjoyed playing the giant chess. There’s a good amount of shade to sit in and eat while feeding the kids. I like that there are changing tables in the men’s restroom. I loved the rocking chairs in front of the fast food because I could sit in the shade and rock my baby while waiting on the rest of the family. Overall it was a fun filled day
