My husband and I had a great time! We stayed for a week. You just cannot beat the river front access. We were in site 17 with a 36 foot 5th wheel. It is a pull through with a nice ‘yard’. Kristi the owner/manager is so nice. She met us as soon as we pulled in. You can tell there has been a lot of work put into this place and I know it will just keep getting better! The pavilion is so nice and has grills, a table and chairs for patron use. It faces the river. All sites have a picnic table. Cell service….Verizon is no good here (my phone and hot spot). My husbands phone is on AT&T and he had great service. I signed onto the park Wi-Fi and it was fine. There is a substantial amount of highway traffic. This little gem is in between two mountains with a highway running through it, so it is to be expected. We can’t wait to book this place again. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay, we enjoyed the access to the Mt Fork River that it provides. We found it to be centrally located between Beavers Bend area and Mena, so we were able to camp there and enjoy both Oklahoma and Arkansas! Host was fantastic and friendly. The park was very clean and well kept. Pet friendly as well. Highly recommend if you want away from the hustle and bustle of town ! There is a convenience store and a Dollar General Store just 5 miles away. I would also suggest book early to get a spot on the riverside 😃
Such a great place! I haven't felt that relaxed in a while. Being right by the river was awesome. My dog swam every chance she got. Water was clear and comfortable. Hubby easily wheeled his Hobie fishing kayak down and fished every day. I sat by the water in the sun and RELAXED. Kristi, the owner is really great. Highly recommend.
My wife and I spent several days leading up to July 4th and found this RV Resort to be a perfect nearby getaway from the Hochatown and Beaver Bend hustle and bustle. While we liked the whole tourist area, the peace and quiet at this beautiful riverside setting was great to come “home” to at the end of the day. The owners were very warm and welcoming and we are hoping to return in the fall. Don’t miss your chance to relax here!
This is definitely a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Hochatown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet. Squeaky clean showers and restroom. Right on the river. Kayaks available on-site and free firewood. The owners are incredibly welcoming! We were greeted upon our arrival, given a map of the area and sunglasses to watch the eclipse, and checked on throughout our stay. We will definitely be back in spring or early summer!
