Unique beautiful scenery, secluded but also close to major attractions, mile from the Ghost Town less and 10 minutes from both Statd and Natioal parks. The biggest campground, 50 sites spead over 60 acres, situated in the middle of a 600 acre ranch.
We could not have chosen a better spot in Big Bend! Private, stunning views, able to have a fire pit for cold nights/dinner made our stay unforgettable. We are already looking to book again. Owner Jeff is fantastic!
We love staying at The Goat Pens! The grounds are clean, easy to make reservations, and very accommodating. It’s nice to have a potty and shower when we’ve been on the side by sides all day.
We had an amazing time staying at this campground. Could not ask for a better host for our stay. So much land to explore and plenty of space so that you don't feel crowded but still with easy access to vehicles and Big Bend National Park. Showers and Toilets are a well appreciated addition.
Jeff was a great host. Hot showers and nice eco bathrooms. The stars at night are incredible! Definitely will return to this campsite in future trips. Very close to big bend! I did look and look twice. Would have been 5 stars but man I had to haul out my trash bags in my car as there was no dumpster.
Great site, safe, lots of wide open spaces, amazing star gazing and wonderful hosts!. The best site in Teralingua!
