Sitting on 14 acres with beautiful mountain views of the San Juans, our property is the perfect stop along your journey through the western slope! While we are still under construction, we have 17 gravel sites with electricity, a picnic, table, and fire rings available for reservations. There are also two potable water hydrants available for use. The main building on the property is a renovated schoolhouse with restrooms, Wi-Fi, and a camp store available for our guests. We have designed the main room of the building as a coworking space for our guests to add on to their stay at a daily rate if needed. We know how challenging it can be to work from the road and sometimes it can be nice to have a space to work outside of your rig! We are located just two miles from town which has grocery stores, laundromats, hardware stores, restaurants, and local shops. Our property is also on a bike trail that connects to 70 miles of (mostly paved) bike trails across the town of Montrose.
Traveling northbound on Highway 550, you will take a left turn onto 6600 RD then take an immediate right onto the frontage road. We are the red brick building to your left. We have stayed with the Campers Hub twice so far. Once was for an RV event, and the second time was when we were visiting the area. It's a great location near Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Montrose. Nice RV sites and great facilities. We loved the fast WiFi and space for work. The hosts are wonderful people. We will stay here every time we visit this part of Colorado!
Love this campground! We stayed here for 4 nights and had an absolute great time. The owners are enormously friendly and welcoming, and you can tell just how passionate they are about the RV lifestyle. They've designed this campground so well. We'll definitely be back!
We stayed here this past weekend for four nights. They are a work in progress, but I see their enthusiasm to complete their vision, so they'll need some patience. As they stand now, we had such a welcoming and personalized experience. The views of the mountains are beautiful. The little schoolhouse is so aesthetically pleasing, wi-fi works amazing, and the showers/bathrooms are glorious to have. I also appreciated they had a water bottle filler so we were always in supply. The surrounding area also offers a lot of things to do and the owners really know the area. Personally, I say go try them out before they really get under way. To not be in a super crowded park was a welcoming break from the norm.
I stopped into The Campers Hub on a recent exploration trip. The setup are great, level, clean, and easily accessible. I look forward to watching the progress of Scott and Taylor as they make this a destination for remote workers and campers looking for a friendly atmosphere with great amenities.
