I loved it its a nice place for swimming 🏊♀️and fishing 🎣you can also camp out.
Nice park with toilets and showers. In the summer, the bathrooms are about 10 to 20 degrees (F) above outside temp. Also, open 24hrs except when they are not! You can find out if they are closed by driving to the gate. If it says "closed", they are not open.
Really nice park! There is a lot of shade and lake access. You can swim, fish, camp, boat and kayak. The cost is minimal. We really had a wonderful visit!
San Angelo does a good job keeping this park and its facilities clean and serviceable. Plenty of shaded areas.
Love this place. The park is maintained very well, and has great scenery to enjoy. Trees, fields of grass, swimming spots, and much more. I bring my dog and walk this park about 3 or more times a week and obviously love it because I keep going back. And for added security, just about every time I have been there, I have seen police patrolling the park to keep it safe.
