East Bluff #1 Campground offers picnicking, fishing and camping opportunities at Lake McClellan.
The water has begun to rise back up in the lack, camp host is very kind and looks out for everyone's safety.
This is a beautiful place to camp. It has hookups, showers, lots if trails, and wildlife.
I guess I shouldn't fault the campground for our bad neighbors, but we were here to relax, rest, & enjoy nature before continuing on our long & arduous move. Which was destroyed by all the A.T.V.'s rolling around the campground. Though there were signs up everywhere stating that the A.T.V.'s were to only be used at the staging grounds & A.T.V. trails. Some would ride their A.T.V.'s down the road to the staging area & on the trails, but some stayed in the campground area, revving their engines, from sun up to past sundown. & they even worked on a few right there, in the campground. Oil changes, spark plugs, etc...
Can't possibly recommend this place enough. Absolutely beautiful. Possibly the very best thing I've ever seen in Texas!!!
Best campground ever. 15 dollars quiet, hot showers, water and electric hookups
