It is located between two beautiful lakes nestled in the trees of deep East Texas - our 89 RV sites are wide w/gravel with full hook-ups in a peaceful, picturesque setting. Rallies & clubs - no matter your size of group - turn your stay into a learning experience. Stay 3 or 5 days for hands-on RV maintenance training.
Want to start your own mobile RV service business? Become certified as a RV service technician or start a RV repair side business. You can do all of it here on the campus of the National RV Training Academy at the Texan RV Park in Athens, TX.

When making a reservation, the lady on the phone was so nice and professional! Told her that we would be getting in most likely after midnight, so she left us a little envelope outside with our name on it which had directions and our spot number in it. The park was so nice and quiet when we got there, we barely set up before it was just time for bed. The whole time we were there, we just couldn’t believe that it was nice and quiet. The whole park is beautiful! Overall, wonderful stay, wonderful park! We will be back!
What a wonderful place to stay!!! The view of the lake and the ducks are a delight. The tiny cabins are just beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The check-in staff are so organized when you arrive. Big thank you to Tammy Anderson, Paula Smith, and Jenny Davis. And not to forget the Cowboys in their Western Hats that were so helpful with escort to my cabin, getting luggage help, and making sure I new how to operate the controls for the A/C.
Love this place! It has two large ponds that you can fish but you have to catch and release. Many different styles of sites. It’s quiet. The 50 amp connections are great. The Internet is pretty good, most of the time. The park office has a few items for sale, including food and tools. certain times of the year they have food trucks on Tuesdays and Thursday evening around five. This Property is also used to train, professional RV technicians and professional RV inspectors so they’re always helpful people around. I plan to be back next year.
Clean, nice landscaping, large sites.
We had a pull-thru/full hook-up Site 50amp. Had plenty of room for our 44ft motorhome, pick-up truck, 3 slides. The dog park was large, clean, & divided into 2 areas. They offer wifi, we used our own.
Office staff was friendly, helpful, & took us to our site.
Would stay there again & recommend you to stay also.
Betty and Robert have been fantastic in this below freezing weather. We are new to RV living and from the moment we have checked in to the campsite they have been available to help and answer all of our questions. Robert and Betty have made sure all of our levels have been fine. Last night after hours Betty and Robert did an emergency propane fill for us so our pipes wouldn’t bust. Betty has even driven us to school. You are definitely in great hands with this park. Highly recommend. Beth and Jody di Grazia
