ON Route 66, “a piece of history”
This campground is one of Oklahoma's best-kept secrets despite being on the world-famous Route 66. All sites are level and have full hookups, and half are pull-throughs. A good portion of the reviews you’ll find make mention of the hospitality and kindness of the owners, Carol and Danny.
Territory Route 66 is more of short-term stopover than a destination, but isn’t traveling Route 66 what it’s all about? It’s easy in, easy out, and located about a half hour outside of Oklahoma City. It’s a rural location but not too far from everything you need to restock and refresh for your cross-country trip.
Take Hinton exit 101, turn north for 0.2 mile to Route 66, then west 1.7 miles to our park.
Would absolutely recommend this place!!! We stayed for a few nights on a trip home from the west coast. Very accommodating and courteous. The ONLY complaint I might have would be the traffic traveling on the road beside the park (nothing the owners could do about that so we can’t hold that against them). We plan to return to visit Oklahoma City again some day and hope to have the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you Danny!!!!
Great place to stop, just west of Oklahoma city. Rate was excellent. Two bathrooms with showers, and two washer /dryer setups. Had nice long pull throughs. Road to the camp is bumpy so take it slow. Would stay again.
