Beautiful place to hike trail is very rockey and has mixed in switch backs so be careful not to sprain your ankle and make sure to follow the red marks the waterfall is beautiful and the devils toll is pretty cool . This is one of my favorite places to hike worth the trip from St Louis City your never lost really lost in Missouri theres a cool town a long the way to .
Beautiful views very scenic
Absolutely beautiful! Of course we decided to go and it was 113 outside lol but getting to the waterfall made it worth it. It's a good place to cool down and relax for a minute before the hike back. Would definitely go back after we had a good rain that way the waterfall was more active but overall loved it!
Best Mountain Views in Missouri! I’m only giving it a 4 stars because unfortunately Mina Sauk falls was dry. It wasn’t the parks fault, just bad timing on my part. I’ll have to come back here after some rainfall to see the waterfall flowing! I can say that I’ve visited the highest point in Missouri! 😊
The views are always nice. It's disappointing that it isn't a struggle to get to Missouri's highest elevation point. You can take a sidewalk about 50 ft from where you park, and then there's a rock and a plaque with the elevation info on it. The Mina Sauk Falls also doesn't flow all year long. Thank you, global warming/people destroying the planet. If you hike here during the winter, wear crampons, bring hiking sticks, and wear a scarf and gloves. There's hardly ever people on the trails when I've been, which has been autumn and winter. The trails easily disappear in the winter, so look for the tags on the trees often. Definitely go the extra mile to the devils toll. It's worth it.
