Beautiful area, I've been twice both out of season. Quiet and would love to see this location when it's full of people using the park. Hoping to camp here this year! Took one of the trails and provided a nice workout! I enjoyed seeing people in their waders doing some fishing! Thank you for keeping our State Parks top tier!
It was quite and nice place, wanted to go back, because it's more adventure, Well I was using my E- bike to look for best spot for fishing, because it was kind a far and huge camground but I went to 5 spots for any kind of baits, and just caught 4 good size trout! so cool! Wanted to go back to see the main spring of Montauk, and the hatchery. We just stayed for 2 nights so it's a short of time. It was great camping and absolutely recommend for friends and family to get an adventures here in Montauk Spring😁
This hidden gem was a pleasant surprise. If you're a member of the general population, more than likely you'll have to go here on purpose. Don't let that deter you, we were just here for a few hours, but the cabins appeared to be nice and well maintained. The people in the gift shop were friendly and helpful. I rented the stone CCC shelter for the day and it was perfect! The grill was nice and large, perfect for cooking lots of burgers! The creek is clear and beautiful!
Beautiful scenery. Two fish hatcheries . Old Mill house . Great for camping , fishing, biking , and hiking. Very relaxing.
