My wife and I stayed here almost 6 months. Very friendly staff and maintenance was on point. The facilities on site work great and when issues came up, Mike with maintenance was quick to fix. Parking is OK, depending on which spot you have... if you have two vehicles you may want to check in advance. The Wi-Fi is unfortunately spotty and also depends on the site you are hooked up to. The sites are mostly level with hard ground and packed rock. The community center has lots of small events like gatherings for holidays and potlucks, with local residents, particularly in Spring/Summer/Fall months. Definitely worth the waiting list considering many of the other nearby parks are very tightly packed sites, expensive, and don't have the same amenities.
I have been here 4 months. I can honestly say that the people are friendly, the park is very well managed, and that the on-site manager, Autumn, goes the extra mile to help people and build a sense of community spirit.
I am very glad that I made the choice to live here!
Picked up a friend. I use to live here & it is a nice RV park. Only problem is the same one that any small community has, the various differences in peoples personalities.. they have renewed the pool & community building which are very nice.
I lived in this park for a year and they are a billion dollar real estate company who only cares about the $$$$. This is advertised as a 55 and older park but it is not. I had a drunk who moved into a storage building next to me and not only had to see him bathing nude with a water hose but was also subjected to seeing him deficate in his yard. We had police cars coming over far too often because if his behavior. After suffering with no peace for most of the year, he was finally evicted but I lost sleep, was stressed out and got no support from the office. Each and every problem was ignored by management, telling me it was a police matter. A minor also lived across the street with his parents but he lived in their storage building as well. They take advantage of seniors, knowing most are on a fixed income, by increasing the rent each year and they falsely advertise what they offer for the amount they charge (people were paying for a recreation/game room for over two years that was closed) and yet they still raised the rent. If you complain, they retaliate by talking about you and using passive/aggressive behavior. I contacted corporate many times and they offered to buy my mobile home but they were not willing to pay a fair price. They are at the top end on rent and they have little competition so supply and demand keeps them full. I talked to so many people who were financially stressed but feared to complain because they had no place to go and there were few parks in the area. They also have sewer problems because they did not want to invest the money to take care of older pipes so we got to enjoy the smell of sewage often. The manager had the personality of a doorknob, that is, if you can find her in the office. The door was locked much if the time with a sign hanging so it was a hit or miss to find her there. If you are looking for a long term home as you age and you are not rich, look elsewhere or you may be very disappointed. If you are looking for a friendly manager who is professional and will make sure that you can actually enjoy your home and environment around you, run the other way because this is not the place! If you want more info. about these investors and how they run their properties, Google the company and read about the multi million dollar law suit in the CA courts.
The manager should just stay home and bake cookies, she is not management material. It was the worst place I have ever been in my entire life. Beware of the maintenance man, he is rude, obnoxious . The washers are always breaking down. You are packed in like sardines. No privacy. Showers have mold. There are RVs with junk everywhere. The main garbage overflow every week. You have to load your garbage in your car and drive it to the dumpsters. But, the manager makes decisions based on ...what ever she thinks is good for her that week. But, it is a no-brainer job for someone with no brains.
