Death Valley is in eastern California on the Nevada border, 130 miles west-northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada and 106 miles east of Lone Pine, California. Furnace Creek Campground is a half-mile north of Furnace Creek Visitor Center on State Highway 190.
It doesn't get much better than this. Just look at historical temperature data for the month you have in mind and bring solar panels and Starlink--no cellular carrier to save you here.
This was a great place to camp for the night. It was quiet, and there are clean restrooms there, but no showers. There is a outside sink to use with drinkable water, and firepits to use. The location is great for a base camp to head out from to explore the park.
Convenient, no-frills campground (really a parking lot, but great if you have an RV or are car camping). Self-check-in kiosk and pay station is really convenient for arriving at all hours.
This is a sardine camp with plenty of sites for the holiday visitors. $14 per night for up to 30 nights! Decent restrooms. The nearby Texas Springs camp is better for tents, and generators are prohibited there. Both camps are first come. There is a free dump and fill station.
