I camped here with my wife and we really enjoyed it! Very quiet. Swam in the lake and it was warm this time of the year. I want to try noisy creek next time, just for the experience!
It was clean and kinda spacious. The camp manager was nice. The deer were fairly tame and wandered the camp areas. That was VERY cool!
It is beuautiful water so clear can't wait toho back its heaven on earth
Stopped by from Metaline Falls Bigfoot Festival for a quick dip/ shower. Seems to be a nice lake for fishing and definitely swimming. There was also a landing and take off strip for Cessna aircraft's. Got to see 'em having some fun doing his rounds around the lake. Please adventure this location and let people know about the beauty it holds. I got good vibes while out there. Happy adventures!
We snagged a first come site on a Monday in July, it was the only one available, and I'm not surprised. This campground is clean and incredibly close to the water, which is crystal clear and cool but not cold. Ideal for swimming. Bears are a concern here so make use of the bear proof food storage bins and definitely don't keep any food in your tents. There is also an active air strip right next door which can be loud but not very frequent (we had one airplane and a helicopter during two days). Highly recommend this area if you have a family, the kids will love it!
