New owners! Lots of upgrades happening, with more in the future. Great seasonal campers always welcoming.
Spent a week up here moose hunting with the family. Darren and his wife were really cool. First thing we see pulling into camp was his sons bear he had gotten earlier that day. Met some great people who brought another moose in. Think he spent 20 years trying to get in on a moose hunt and finally got one. Best part of the trip, spending this time with my family and watching my son get his first moose, my other son shooting some birds, and my newphew getting his feet wet again hunting. Quality time with my girl. All priceless
This place is amazing! The cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. The view is beautiful. The owners are super great. Kayaks to use, friendly campers, Loons calling across the lake, Bald Eagles flying overhead; perfect place for a get away.
Had a great time solo camping by the lake, the campground does have a bathhouse with hot showers available, and best thing here is they have kayaks, canoes and paddle boats available free of use with no time limitations.
This campground is under new management nd currently being renovated. The new owner is doing a great job and was very kind and helpful. The setting is beautiful on St. Froid Lake with access to a boat dock and swimming. I enjoyed my stay here and hope to return for another visit. I spent most of my time birding, but there is plenty of access to fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities.
