Camp minutes away from Utah's greatest attractions and destinations at Sun Outdoors North Moab, formerly Slickrock Campground. Enjoy a great location within walking distance of the amazing Colorado River and biking distance to downtown Moab and its unique shops, restaurants, and breweries.
We’re located on the main highway one mile south of the Colorado River, in Moab Utah.
Very clean park, but we should have done way more research before choosing this location. We tented, and didn’t know until we arrived that the tent sites are in metal/ wood fence squares. No view, and they’re on very loose dirt. Most of the RV sites had shade. the bathrooms were kept clean, although not very well-stocked on paper towels and toilet paper. Our biggest complaints are the quiet hours not starting until 11 at night, and the lights! It was so so bright in our tent, we didn’t get good sleep the whole trip. Wouldn’t stay here again, at least not in a tent.
This place is “cozy” and affordable to set up a basecamp while you go and explore. 4 of the 8 washers were broken. The bathrooms are very clean. The wash stations for dishes is a nice set up. If you are looking for a “campground” camping spot this is not the one for you. If you do stay here I highly recommend that you leave your sewer hose in storage until you are going to use it. Otherwise, you and and your neighbor are going to be climbing/tripping over them the entire time. See pictures. Recommend the brewery Nextdoor and the food truck park downtown.
Our family had a great time here! It was so nice to have a free shuttle to and from downtown they would pick us up right at the campsite. We loved the brewery that is a three minute walk away from our RV site. They have vegan milkshakes! And gluten-free house made veggie burgers. The kids loved the playground and the pool. At the time of writing this, I see a lot of negative reviews, but honestly I think they are pretty harsh and this campsite was lovely.
Not a bad RV park; well maintained, nice place to stay for a few days. The location is close to Arches NP and a quick ride into the center of Moab. Our site had full hookups, so we didn’t use the “convenience stations” but those seemed to be a nice amenity for tent campers. Spaces are a little tight, but expected in most RV parks, certainly in Moab. We have a 29.5’ trailer, no slides, and I had enough room to park our Expedition.
Nice place to camp in town. I've been coming here for the last 20 years. The new renovation really improved the bathrooms. It's low season now with lots of open space, but it's probably a different feel when full. Nice place to fill water jugs and take a real shower if you have been off grid for a few days.
