Fantastic campground. We reserved site 21 and really liked it. It was furthest from the restrooms but we enjoyed the isolation from the other spots. That said the sites were well spaced and the vegetation did wonders in creating more intimate spaces. The views at sunset were incredible! Our site included 2 tent pads and a lockable cabinet for your food in the shade pavilion plus a low powered overhead light in the shade canopy.

Only a mile from a fantastic overlook at Dead Horse Point. Go there for a sunrise over the Colorado River!

Awesome little campground!! Sites feel private. Super clean. Electric hookups at each site. No water hookups. Dump station at entrance. Can see the canyon from camp. Lots of hiking trails start at the campground, too. We did the entire rim hike...trail is not marked in several areas so it was difficult to stay on the path. Highly recommend Kayenta!

This place is SPECTACULAR!! The trails that connect to the campground lead to the rim of the canyon within minutes. The visitor's center is walkable and full of great gifts and info. We rode our bikes on the Intrepid Trail System which is also within easy reach. Most of the bike trails are very kid friendly. Would love to visit again!!
