This place was so much better than expected. This is not a cabin, this is a spacious guest house! The interior was great, everything was clean, the bed was wonderful and comfy! Can highly recommend Sleepy J cabins!
Second time visiting and we really enjoyed our stay. Quiet, great view and perfect place to just seat on the porch and relax and hear the occasional mooing 🐄
The exterior is unassuming. The interior is cozy and luxurious. For the price of a Best Western I got SO much more. Beautiful valley with amazing views, cozy cabin with a deluxe massage chair, plenty of room, double burner kitchenette with pots, pans, and dishes provided. Friendly staff, open layouts.... No complaints about this place. Next time I come through this part of Idaho I'm not even looking at other place's rates, I'm coming straight back here. Amazing stay.
Everything was great except.... the coffee pot. I know, I know, but hear me out. The first day, it brewed just fine. The next day, as my husband was filling the glass with water to make a pot, a round piece of the glass literally just popped off 👀.
They gave us a different one to use. 😎 cool, so the next day, it took two hours for it to brew a full pot of coffee. And the last day, I apparently didn't set it under the drip just right..... I had set the automatic brew for 2.5 hours prior to us waking up, so we had a full pot of coffee upon waking .....it was, everywhere 🤦♀️
It was all over the counter all over the floor everywhere except for the glass pot where it should have gone. I was literally a quarter inch off of where I should have sat it. so maybe that last one was on me. Other than that everything was great and the staff was amazing.
There are restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance which makes it super handy.
These cabins were so cute! They were clean and had all we could ask for during our stay. The owner, Jake, so very helpful and hospitable. There was parking right on the side of the cabin making it easier to get your things in and out, and a lovely little deck to enjoy the evening serenity. We were about an hour from the Grand Tetons, but traveled through the town of Jackson Hole on our way to the wilderness of the Tetons. I highly recommend them as a place to stay on your next trip!
