Love walking around and seeing the ducks, geese and dog walkers. Water and mountain views are gorgeous!
I've been coming here on Labor Day weekends since 1996. Great camping, facilities, views of the Gorge, and hiking. I love it here. It's absolutely beautiful camping next to the lake from year to year. On top of all that, our annual music and arts festival on Labor Day weekend here is always a special treat that I look forward to year after year, and it's actually free!
Went down to the fairgrounds to do some bird watching today ...just had to get out of the house...we live nearby. Was nice to have a place to social distance while being outside...only a few folks around, doing their own thing. The geese are so friendly...and gave us a much needed lift in spirits. Also saw a little bird called a killdeer.
Family, friendly,fun atmosphere! Great time lots of different food vendors to chose from. Beautiful scenery next to the water. $5.00 parking no admittance fee. Live band on weekend and camping close by. Wonderful smal town fair. Dog friendly.
