Fabrice was welcoming. Enjoyed our time here. Probably could do with a softer area for tents. Lot of stones and rocks.
The host was very kind. The place, including the bathroom, was well maintained. It was an easy drive to Bryce & Zion. We were able to book well ahead on hipcamp. I will say the light on the bathroom & across the street diminishes the stargazing possibilities (which was frustrating after asking before we booked) but still better than our home in the city and it was pretty quiet. It felt safe traveling as a woman. And we did not come upon any rattlesnakes!
Great campsite!! Nice bathrooms and delicious drinking water. There's a good amount of shade, and it gets windy during the day. Best night of sleep we've had in a while, even though you can hear the cars on the main road! No fires allowed, but we could use the community fire, which was nice to make friends. Fabrice is the manager, and he is awesome!! Great host and fun to talk with. Garrison is a fabulous owner who genuinely cares about the area and guests. Both of them have great recommendations, too! Also, there are absolutely gorgeous sunsets and views!! We are looking forward to going back. Thank you!
Simple but well kept campsite. The host is extremely friendly and helpful should you have any questions or problems.
Bathrooms are clean and there is also a shower which you appreciate aber a day of hiking.
You have a very nice view of the surrounding mountains. Looks great in the morning.
The campsite is off HW 89 but quiet at night and we had a good night sleep.
On top of it you get fast WLAN.
Nice place to spend a couple of nights.
When we arrived we met the host and he explained everything to us. He told us which sites had electric available. He was great. I could see this place being decent in the warmer months, However I’m giving it a lower rating because of the copious amount of dog poop around the trash and dumping area. We stepped in it multiple times when trying to use the dump area. There are even bags next to the bathrooms to pick it up with. Why just leave it there? I get that it’s not peak season but it looked like it hadn’t been picked up in over a week maybe more. I really hope when this place is busy, that’s not the case. Not only that but the layout of the water and electrical hook up is kind of in convenient. Along with where the dumping pipe is. There are multiples but the others didn’t really work with the side ours was on. Make sure you have a long hose for your gray tank to reach it. This is definitely an over night kind of place or 2 nights max. Thankfully our van has its own shower because the shower in the RV park did not have any hot water whenever we tried.
