VERY rugged road to get to this campground. Please be advised if you have an RV or a low clearance vehicle.
It was an amazing experience but the road has definitely gotten far worse than last time I was there. 4x4 high clearance required and get ready for a long slow drive.
Beyond worth it
Sheep's Bridge is clean, seems to be well maintained. It seems most people are respectful and do not leave their trash. It is an absolute pleasure to be there. We were able to find a place to camp with no problem, right neat the water. The natural hot springs are a little hard to get to, but worth it. There are no facilities there, and don't try to get your rv down there. It's a rough road, to a beautiful place, and an exact example why I'm proud to be an Arizona native.
Definitely need to have a vehicle that can get scratched up and has lots of ground clearance. It will take a lot longer to get there than Google shows unless you are on a side by side.
Beautiful place, definitely go in a vehicle that can be scratched up, ability to handle rough ride and 4 wheel drive.
Your car will not make it here despite what Google says. We never needed 4wd drive but def needed the ground clearance. Would be a great ride in a SxS or atv. Very beautiful place with rope swing under the bridge. It was Dec so we didn't use it.
