Burros, beautiful lake, trails, spacious playground, multilevel campsites with wonderful views, friendly staff... something for everyone. The challenge is to place your RV between cement posts on one side and the metal roofing over the picnic table on the other. Sites are generally level and clean.

THIS IS THE BEST! Had an excellent weekend with my kiddo! Great views, clean restrooms, hot showers, and water right at your site! We camped in the back of a friend's site, so we were just on the land. Each site does have a concrete pad, tho.

10/10 will go every year! Thanks for having us!

GO BILLS!

What a great Recreational area just north and west of Phoenix. 2 camp ground areas, picnic tables, a marina, great walks. You can see wild burrows, water foul, rabbits, snakes, etc. Great park for road biking, hiking, kayaking and boating.

Arizona has done an excellent job creating individual camp sites. There is plenty of space between sites, so you aren't packed in. Each site has a covered area with a table and bench on a concrete patio. Each area has a fire ring complete with a nice grill. Throughout the camping area, there are restrooms with showers. Most individual sites require you to back in however, a few of the sites are pull through. Each site has a fresh water connection as well as 30 and 50 watt power. Really the only downside is the lack of a sewer connection but that is a small thing and they have a dumping station on the way out. Beautiful views spaced out sites with a price that will not break the bank. Reservations fill up fast outside of the summer months.

Love this campground on the shores of Lake Pleasant, north of Phoenix, AZ. So incredibly scenic. Supplies are not so convenient, but the hiking down by the lake is amazing. Cool and unique playground for kids, at least those not scared of nature, lol.
