Knowledgeable and genuinely caring staff. A responsible oasis for rescued wildlife. Call in advance as they’re very busy. Don’t come here as a petting zoo; let the wild remain wild.
I had an injured baby groundhog. I called everyone with no luck at that time. She got back to me and took the little feller in. I think that many people forget that these places are volunteers doing it because they love animals and for someone to say it’s all about money for them. I would have to disagree. No one’s getting rich from these poor animals.
We brought a tiny porcupine to them after the Mom died after she fell from a tree. So sad. The staff at the wildlife center were so nice and assured us lil "Lanky" would grow up with other porcupines and would be released together. They do amazing work.
I was so pleased that this animal wildlife rescue was open on Sundays and had a vet on duty. I had found a squirrel with a completely limp and flopped over back foot. I called these fine folks and they had someone with a vehicle come get the squirrel from me to bring it down to to the wildlife rescue!! Thank you for helping me, help the squirrel!!!
