Location, Location, Location! If you want a simple, well maintained, RV park in a great location, off the beaten path; you will like this place.
Passport America was not accepted. The roads around the campsites are dirt paths. The highway to here CO 125 was so bad it shook our side mirror off! Avoid If at all possible. If you are in an RV, there is only one way in and out from Interstate 80 and none from Interstate 25. Plus it is $42 for 30 amp.
Nice and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have a laundry, but only have 1 washer and 2 dryers which made a long evening of catching up with my laundry.(otherwise I would have given this place a 5.)
Such a great little spot just outside Walden. Level grassy spots, full hookups, showers and laundry-all well kept and clean. Saw lots of wildlife in the area, including a moose and her baby. Owners were super nice!! Even remembered my little ones birthday that we mentioned in passing, and showed up with a small gift for her! Would recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area! Beautiful spot, great people ❤
Great campsites for RV or Trailers- full hook ups, 30 and 50 amp options. Laundry on site- 75 cents wash, 50 cents to dry. Clean bathhouses and a playground set with swings. Pure mountain water to hook up to or drink (tested regularly), dump station available, and an on-site store that pretty much has everything for a campsite, including ICE! Go online to reserve or pull in and see what’s available! Incredible views of Bald Eagles and resident Antelope herds, moose if you stay on the lookout, and fantastic star gazing being its a few miles from any city lights. Right near the sand dunes also.
