Sparse at 9:30, packed by 11:30 on a Monday. Tons of beach, reasonably priced parking, showers/baths, and walking mats to make load in/out easier.

The best campground!!! Across the street from Second Beach. Tony is the BEST! Friendly, helpful, and immediately became part of our family. RI’s best kept secret. We will return.

I have been camping there for 3 amazing summers. Bitter sweet that its our last long term summer at this campground. I lovvvvveeee it, and grateful to have had meet so many good caring people. I will visit friends when I visit second beach, how can I not. I thank Tony Tighe for all his kindness he truly is an amazing man and manager of the Campground. I will become a month long visitor in the future which is better than nothing.

Fantastic location and Tony was extremely helpful! Would have rated 5 stars but did have a terrible experience with a seasonal camper named Chris and her husband who thinks they own the place. Avoid site 9a as they actually complained because we were barbecuing...at a campground...had to move my grill into the parking lot and burned my hand. They claimed the smoke was billowing into their state of the art trailer and their child was going to have an asthma attack...my 26 year old RV that had the grill Just a couple of feet away it did not fill up with smoke and my window was open...lnowing his story was bull I moved it anyway to avoid confrontation and not once did the husband offer to help as he watched me try to carry a hot burning grill which caused a burn on my hand...they ruined my dinner and my vacation and I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, not the delicious barbecued chicken which was the plan...would go back but only if not near them. We tried to be kind and courteous campers our whole stay. They should not be allowed to treat paying customers this way and I'm willing to bet I'm not the first person who's had a bad experience with them.
