Came here for a short vacation with a few friends. Loved the lake and the amenities in the cabin. Unfortunately, the weather could have been a bit better. The couple who runs the resort seemed to be stretched a bit thin because I don't think they have many employees, but they certainly did their best to make our stay comfortable.
Beautiful beach, great cabins, wonderful place for families, and really awesome owners! Our family vacationed at a different resort for 30 years. We tried a couple other resorts. None matched the place we loved for years, until we came to Sandy Pines. This place tops the other one. The cabin we rent for the week has a/c and a washer, dryer, and dishwasher! The beach is clean. The lake water is clear. They have fun Wave floats/trampoline in the water for all to play on. I think we have found our new vacation spot!
These cabins are very nice and modern. There is everything you need for cooking and preparing food. The view of the lake is excellent. It has firewood and even has a smokeless solo stove that was never used that we all enjoyed. I would definitely recommend.
Despite some rainy weather, both kids and adults had a great time!
Cabin (6 bedroom) and Pontoon were very nice and clean. Great selection of DVDs for rainy days. There was lots of sand to play in and water toys for the kids.
Beautiful lake resort with cabins and seasonal campers. Pride shows through in the care taken for the beach and the cleanliness of the cabins. Owners are very attentive when issues arise. Resort is set up very nicely. Enjoyed fishing and the complimentary beach fun(trampoline, kayaks, canoe, kids paddle boats, playset, swings, etc) Our kids had a great time and look forward to returning in the future.
