You will love the view from every strategically placed cabin, the quiet atmosphere, good fishing, clean environment, playground, homemade pizza, ice cream, lodge with games and books, and free paddle boards and kayaks for enjoyment. This lodge is owned by humans who love bringing their guests joy!

My family has been vacationing down the road at Brookside Resort since childhood. This year, we stayed at Bear Paw for the first time due to cabin availability. I am extremely pleased with my stay. Owner Doug was very welcoming and invested in ensuring his guests have the family oriented Minnesota get away they're looking for.
My family and I spent our spring fishing trip at Bear Paw resort and were rewarded with an amazing time. Fishing was great. Very nice slab crappies all we wanted. Doug and Ruth were amazing hosts and very helpful. Cabin 10 was very nice, clean, and everything worked. Ruth made huge delicious cookies for my daughters birthday. Doug delivered delicious homemade cinnamon roll right to boat at dock. Now that's a little extra that made it more special.
This is an incredible place to stay in Park Rapids. The cabins are very clean, the lake is beautiful and the amenities are great. Doug and his crew are friendly and on top of everything! The water is clear and the beach is clean to. Will be coming back again as Doug does an amazing job.
Cannot recommend Bear Paw Resort Park Rapids, Minnesota enough! Had a family reunion and it was wonderful! We had cabins 9, 10, 7, and 4. 10 has been a great place to be the homebase for 20 people! Had a ramp for those with issues with stairs, a great deck with a wonderful view, AC (who knew we would need that in September!), a dishwasher, screened porch! Family enjoyed the included kayaks and swim beach. With various arrival schedules from across the country, we tried the great on-site homemade pizza. The owner, Doug, took us on a pontoon ride around Two Inlets Lake. Absolutely wonderful! Those who know Chuck and I, know we've stayed at several resorts up here. This one ranks at the top!
