Spent my 30th birthday here. It was a very quite and peaceful escape.

I visited Aitkin Resort for a quick unscheduled ice fishing trip. The service was hands down the best that can be provided. Rooms are clean, the lake view breath taking, and fishing was exactly what I was looking for. After the first day I couldn't wait to book more trips with all my long time fishing buddies, this is what we are looking for I said! The owner personally brought us out and put us on the fish. No guild service costs, just room which was priced at fair market value. We talk about this attitude of "Minnesota Nice", at Aitkin resort you get to experience exactly that! Not only am I going back, I'll be back every time I want to fish!
