We always have fun! It's nice to get together with the Kovals, Grulkowski's and Wiersgallas. David and Audrey
I've stayed here a couple of times as my relatives have a space here. Friendly community. Close to lake access.
Very friendly and clean campground! Owners are accommodating. We saw deer run through the campground, as well as a turtle, a porcupine (on the nature trail), and an eagle soar above. Not waterfront, but lake is nearby. We got a site between two seasonal campers (who both happened to be gone) which gave us a perfect little spot with lots of privacy. The showers were close and had warm water. There is a camp store with goodies and games. We enjoyed the rugged nature trail. Such a hidden gem!
We came up for our grandmother's funeral. We have 4 adult children, and their significant other/spouse came with. The two cabins were perfect for what we needed. The children just needed a place to sleep, we hung out and did all the cooking at our campsite. There's public access to Lake Eau Claire right across the road with a nice sandy beach. The shower house is very clean! The campground is well kept! We love that it's pet friendly because we were able to bring our dogs with. John, the owner, is very welcoming! Bring Youngling, it's one of his favorite beers! We have booked another weekend next month.
