Beautiful off the beaten path. Alkaline lake. Lots of hungry bees. Bumpy access road last mile.

This campground has a clean pit type toilet, numerous pick-nick tables and fire pits. There is no potable water here. Plenty of open parking. It is among the cleanest campground as it is rarely used. The ground has not been pounded into a fine powder and there is virtually not trash laying around.

The view of the lake with mountains in the background is awesome. It is a spring feed lake. The lake does have a lower Ph. However, there is plenty of fish, waterfowl, turtles, an occasional Muskrat and all the other four legged forest creatures. Raptors love cruising the area looking for a snack.

Rock Lake is located in the midst of a small chain of lakes. All with in a few minutes walk from the campground. Timber Lake, known for its' ice fishing, Lost Lake, known for being a U.S.F.W. trophy Lake (Release anything under 23"), Frank Lake, ...

This isn't a party type lake or area. It lends its' self toward relaxing peaceful area. Sit back and listen to the fire popping and all that nature has to hear, feel and see.

Bees are seasonal in this area and, like all campgrounds, will be there occasionally. Keep your area clear of food and they won't be much of a bother.
