Immaculately clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet and peaceful setting sitting right on Bakers Bay. Very reasonably priced. They sell ice and firewood right at the campground. The owners are wonderfully friendly people. The absolute best camping experience I have ever had.

When we first pulled in, we were a little concerned about the closeness of some sites, shared pedestals. But we never felt crowded even during the booked July 4th week. Nicely mowed sites, roads well maintained and very friendly, helpful hosts. Overall a very friendly, quiet campground, close to Astoria, OR, and Ilwaco, Seaside and Long Beach, WA. Plenty to do in the area. We stayed 2 weeks and loved it.

Lovely campground run by a very friendly and hospitable couple. Nice spacious, grassy sites. Tent camping as well as self contained. Very clean restrooms. Free WiFi. Great location at the beach. Unfortunately they are selling so I'm not sure what is going to happen to the place.

VERY NICE, WORTH A STOP

Grassy parking in a relatively small RV campground among tall trees Pleasant easy-going owners happy to please. Ample pull-throughs plus space for tent campers, located along the Columbia before it reaches the Pacific. A very friendly park, with a gathering of the campers in the late afternoon at the picnic table cluster by the check-in building -- to tell tall tales of salmon caught during season. Very clean and well kept up bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Just across the Astoria bridge along 101 on the outskirts of Chinook. Quiet, out of the wind, easy to like. Hope to return!

We RV about 50% of the year (nice to be retired!).

We stayed at River's End Campground for 2 nights. What a GREAT place!

The same owners for 27 years. Cleanest restrooms & showers anywhere we have stayed. Friendly, informative owners who put the guests interests first and foremost.

Highly recommended! If you like RV resorts with pools, spa treatments & a lot of fluff then this is not for you.
