This is a nice, quiet place to stay. The park has grass for all the RV spots and a gravel road. There are a few trees, and they are all trimmed for large units.
The bathrooms and showers are well cared for and clean. The only downside is there is no septic dump.
We enjoyed walking to the Port of Chinook and watching the ducks, geese, herons, eagles etc.
We’ve been here every year for years. Great staff and owners. You’ve got to understand the area to understand why there’s no septic. It’s VERY hard to maintain as the ground is so wet that the tanks fill with dirt and sand. There use to be septic. We stay long durations for the fishing season. The review that people live here is absolutely incorrect in every aspect. There’s grass and trees. There’s a fish cleaning station, and field in the back with a forest behind it. The only people who live here are camp hosts. It’s a shame people review things and places they know NOTHING about. This is definitely not the most pampered of the KM resorts, but you’re here for the incredible outdoors. Go in any direction and you find so many beautiful places to see and things to do. This place is clean, well maintained with great people working here. I’m so thankful for it.
Only thing we did not like at this RV park was there was no dump other than that it was nice and quiet and peaceful.
Never stayed but they spam call me regularly and from different numbers after I block the first. I bought a trailer and am supposed to receive 2 free nights stays. I will not be using the free stays and I chewed the dealership a new one after letting my number out. I can't imagine how annoying the place is if you stay rhere
If you just need a simple home base, it fills the needs. Much better pricing if you're a member, kind of spendy for non members for just electric and water. Warm and clean bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers help not needing sewer. Good location especially if you're there for fishing, it's right next to the marina with a coffee kiosk and bait shop right there as well. Quiet when we were there, has decent club room if you ask to use it. Site space can vary drastically.
