From jct Hwy 63 & Hwy 27: Go 4 mi S on Hwy 63.
Stayed for a night, very large sites with a fire pit and pick nick table. The owner is very nice and friendly. Free firewood provided. Plenty of lots available at the time we passed through so the owner let us pick our space.
Easy in and out. We have a 41' fifth wheel and no problems. Close to town yet far enough away that it's quite.
We discovered this place and glad we did. Great host. Spacious location. Free woodfire. New hookups. Very affordable.
I'm hesitant to write this review as I'd hate to have to compete with others for spots when we come back again. However, this camp site, the owner, the location, the views; they are all too amazing not to share.
Price is beyond fair. The owner is an extremely friendly, welcoming, and social man. The location is central to much of the area. The views of the night sky are unmatched. The site has your water and electric hookups (the owner does provide advance notice that there are no shower/bath houses to make sure you have that capability)
This camp site has been marked on my Google Maps as a favorite location. We will absolutely be back next year!
