Looking for the Fenn treasure here and it is amazing! Be prepared though, the roads are very rocky and bumpy on the way in. Takes a long time to get into the heart of the forest. Need 4-wheel drive. Lots of deer, elk and other animals. Very beautiful and peaceful area. Will be going back again.

If you like americas backlands you’ll like this beautiful drive through canyon.

Also check out black rock hotsprings to the north in the same canyon.

It has awesome views and trails comparable with national parks but with less crowds. The trails are in pretty good shape and fairly easy to follow. I didn't have problems finding parking at the trailheads. The staff at the visitor center are helpful.
