Last place I would recommend staying if you need to park your RV in Reno. I read a previous review that you are better off staying at Walmart until something better opens up and they were right.
The security is extremely unprofessional and I would even go to saying abusive to tenants. My 70yr old grandmother was visiting me and my 10m old son. She didn’t know the strict speed limit and sped at a whopping 10-15mph. The security came onto my property leaning over my grandmothers car yelling at her like she’s a punk kid. He then threatened me that I would be “86 off the property” when I tried to explain that it was only a mistake. It is not his place to threaten me like that and it is certainly not ok to yell at a grandmother like he did. This is only one incident. I called later to confront them on the issue and the security continued to be disrespectful and unprofessional. I have a full recording of the call. He told me that the neighborhood is bad and that is why he responds the way he does. My grandmother is not scum and absolutely does not deserve to be treated like she is.
Also, conditions of the dog run, showers and spots are very poor. No guest parking and at times you will have to walk a block to your car. There is no humanness to the management. Their answer is always “it’s in the rules.”
Another issue we had was that the fire lanes are right in front of the spots. So, you cannot park in front of your rv for even a minute to unload. Security uses zero discretion. One time the father of my son parked in front of my RV to pick up my son. He barely had time to get out of his truck before the security guard started screaming at him quite similarly.
I have been RVing and have stayed in many different parks over the past 5 years. I have never experienced anything like this. I moved out the day another spot opened up.
In conclusion, I would strongly suggest avoiding this park due to excessively aggressive and rude security, no security in your home and welfare due to policies of evicting people at any mistake, it is a bad neighborhood with a lot of drugs and homeless, the spots are very small with hardly any grass, inconvenient fire lanes, it is an overall uncomfortable environment that will make you feel unhappy.
So far it's been quite except for last night only because there was a concert going on at the ball park downtown. Other than that I have only been here for a few days. Everyone seems to be nice and mind their own business. It's not a big RV park and not a lot of scenery but it works. Manager is really nice and helpful. Management seems very nice straight forward no drama or confusion everything was handled very professionally it's a gated park and it is clean. Now since management changed a lot of things are going to actually get fixed and handled now. They are making repairs slowly but its better than them not being done much better than just letting everything go.
We are going to stay here, it's a very small place all gated. Very quiet a lot of security cameras, it has a big dog run for your dogs. A beautiful picnic area with a Kazibo. And 6 tables. And a beautiful. Fountain withat's a bird feeder. Just a beautiful setting to relax in. Only set back Is you can only have one vehicle? There is no room for 2.
Super quiet gated park. Everyone super respectful and management is awesome. Always willing to lend a hand and really on top of security. Showers are hot and facilities are really clean.
