The RV Park was originally developed in 1972 along the Middle Fork of the Coquille River in Southwest Oregon. Remote Outpost RV Park has a unique location along the Coquille River, in a valley. It has a perfect setting for relaxation and being one with the outdoors. It offers the feeling of a mountain retreat, with the surrounding terrain and forest, while also benefiting weather-wise from only being at an elevation of 270 feet and within 40 miles from the coast. The RV Park is privately owned and managed by the owners.
During the winter, the Coquille River drainage offers some of the best Steelhead and Cutthroat fishing in the Northwest.
A covered game processing area is available to our annual hunting guests, complete with overhead cranes and cool box for the game.
We also have a centrally located river access, with steps leading to a deck landing for river and wildlife viewing; continuing on down more steps to a ramp that leads to a sandy beach and swimming hole. Meander through the park and trees on many nice walking areas, or play in the large grassy fields with your pets. As you walk to the north end of the park, there is a small bridge to cross, taking you on a path to the wonderful Coquille River. Along with the rv sites, we have four charming cabins in a peaceful setting with river view. A Truly Relaxing Getaway.

Loved staying here in late April. Quiet, beautiful, the perfect place to disconnect and get away. Located on the river you could listen to the water run. Even though we had some rain, well maintained no muddy mess. Will definitely come back.
Private owned. Small rv park in a secluded river location. Beautifully maintained and extremely kind and friendly hosts. Approximately 25 miles from Myrtle Point, Roseburg, or Winston, Oregon. Great rates with full hook-ups. We will be back. S. Ficarra, Dallas Tx.
What a gorgeous spot! Beautiful creek behind all the RV spots. Lovely landscaping and huge trees everywhere. The hosts are super nice as well. Clean restrooms, and they even have a propane filling station.
Beautiful gem of an RV park. Wooded, no concrete slabs (yahoo!), green grass everywhere and - of course - the river. Great place to chill or go exploring. The 2 lane highway can be loud but easy to tune out especially near the river. Highly recommend!
