We stayed at Portside RV park for about 2 weeks. All the reviews were true. A clean park, friendly staff, enforced quiet hours, friendly atmosphere, 2 great restaurants right across the street, & an 8 minute walk to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

After filling out a reservation request online, we were told that our classic and well cared for 2001 Roadtrek was too old to be accepted. Finally, the woman said if we sent photos, they “probably” would let us in. She insisted that they were required to get the photos and “keep them on file, just in case…”

We sent multiple photos over the course of several days, but she couldn’t figure out how to open them, blaming her old computer, and kept asking us to resend them, which we did. (We’ve been sending many photos to friends and family on our trip, with no problems) She finally said to just come and they would visually inspect our van on arrival.

When we got there, a different woman was in the office and didn’t seem to know anything about the photos, or care about them. I asked her to come out and look at our van and approve it; she glanced and said, “You’re fine.”

For others - just be aware of their policy. Their facilities are fine, their spaces are tight but functional, and their rates are reasonable.

We would have skipped right over them at the beginning, once we encountered that snobbery, but everywhere else was full and we needed to be close to the marina to meet up with friends in their boat.

But I will never stay there again.

Very clean! The staff are amazing and willing to go above and beyond for their guests. Walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Would recommend this park to anyone traveling in the Brookings area. Will definitely be back soon! A++

Communication with employees is less than to be desired. Extremely un pet friendly...Had to run our dogs down the street for them to have a place to pee.

On more than one day in our few week stay the manager was outside our back trailer window in the lot blowing the very few leaves, extremely invasive of privacy.

Overheard more than one guest yelling and arguing with host about there lack of integrity.

Pluse side, the bathrooms are incredibly clean, but do lack hot water, milky warm is all you get. This place left me feeling, disappointed and irritated.
