The Camp Host on 4-17-21/4-18-21 was the rudest host my family and I have came across! Very unpleasant to talk to. She refused to speak to any campers until after 10 a.m. she refused to put toilet paper in the potty- it was still empty when we left at noon on Sunday.

We were in tents and the spots are small but beautiful. We had a spot right next to a stream and we loved listening to it. Our camping neighbors were very nice and we all seemed to get along great 😆 especially since we all had at least one thing in common A HORRIBLE CAMP HOST!

My 6 yr old son loved the playground ❤

We would only be going back after the host is replaced.

first time camping here in Cabin #2. this was a fun stay, the cabins are near the lake, the cabins were cozy, we definitely will be back next summer and maybe this winter as well.

This place is awesome not only do I have a view of the lake from my trailer but I’m surrounded by pine trees and nature. I had a blue bird every morning staring at me from my chair outside while I relaxed in my trailer. There are the most beautiful squirrels running around the camp looking for crumbs. The camp hosts were very helpful when we got here because we didn’t get here from California until 10:30pm and I’m disabled so not much help for my husband for set up which they were more than happy to get us and our pups settled for the night. Even though there was a lot of smoke around we extended our trip by a couple of days because it is so quiet and relaxing here. Most of the campers around us were very friendly and nice except for the RV in space #5 that had about twenty or so people come up to celebrate a birthday and block the road with their car and boat even though the camp hosts kept asking them to move it how rude. Was very happy when I woke up and they were gone🎉🎉🎉🎉. Decided not to leave on Sunday and changed to leave on Tuesday. Great place look forward to coming back May just rent as cabin next time. Also I have been to a lot of public bathrooms and I have to say I was very impressed with how clean yours were!!

I had a lot of fun visiting for the first time. The hosts were top notch and made sure that we had everything we needed. While staying they were always driving around visiting campers and their truck has a few extra necessities in case someone needed a loan. Wood too except it's a no burn time, ugh! So no cool camp fires at night. When we arrived the camp was clean and the announcements board was well organized. Everyone's schedule/space was posted and all of the rules were there. The roads are a bit narrow so one way only but only a couple other campers were set up so pulling in wasn't a challenge. Seeing another person set up camp made me understand the strict rules about parking and keeping to the camp space. I loved the forest and the view. Where we were staying I wouldn't guess there was a playground and more to do but the hosts chatted and later showed where it all was (thank you!). We did experience a group which was disruptive. As much as the hosts tried to diffuse the situation they kept spreading out and being noisy. If it wasn't for the hosts I think they would've blocked the road and our access. I can't go up hills well with my disabilities and relied on the road to walk the dogs. Talking to the hosts was so cool. They assured me that those were blackberries and not to eat the low hanging fruit 🤣 for reasons you can guess. I was creeped out at the webbing on plants but they told us about the caterpillars and it was fascinating. As a topper: When exiting the gravel road across the main one actually takes you up a narrow (scary) winding road all the way up that mountain to a stunning vista!!! I am so happy to have gone and it's now a great memory of camp. It's not often that a camp has hosts who are a huge presence and help. I'd visit again!

I want to tell you about our stay. We had a great time, the campground was beautiful and very clean. We had no hot water in our motor home so we used the bathroom/showers and I was so pleased to see that they were well taken care of and cleaned daily by the camp host.

Now I want to tell you about your camp host Clay. He is literally a life saver. My husband was having a diabetic episode/seizure at 3:00 am. I ran to my friends motorhome that we were camping with and woke them up. They came over and saw him and the husband drove to the camp host Clays trailer. He woke Clay up and asked him to call 911 which he did. Clay stayed at the top of the road so he could tell the ambulance where we were camping. If it had not been for Clay, calling 911 I’m pretty sure my husband would’ve gone into a diabetic coma. I want to give a big shout out to Clay, and thank him from the bottom of my heart.
