Please do not waste your money on this place. It is only a gravel spot in a motel parking lot. Water not turned on yet due to weather so you had to use the bathhouse which had water. Only problem there is the hot water stayed hot for less than a minute, then you had a cold shower. We have a 20ft camper and could hardly manage since spaces were so tight. Will never stay there again. Only plus was convient to west entrance to Yellowstone
The RV park was a perfect home base while we visited Yellowstone. The bathrooms and showers are clean. There is a city park across the street that was perfect for walking our dogs. We were not looking for amenities as we spent all day in YNP and GTNP and we were very pleased with this quiet area to sleep. Front desk staff were very helpful, as well.
This RV park was great for our family in June of 2020. We called on our way back into West Yellowstone, not ready to be done with the park, but out of days at our campground. Brandin Iron/Pony express accommodated us immediately. They put us close to the shower building that we absolutely needed (we were in a popup), and even provided a 50 to 30 amp power adapter for us to borrow. We spent two comfortable nights. Yes, it is a parking lot with hookups, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Perfect for what we needed. We just needed a spot for the night to head back into Yellowstone the following day. It's a little pricey for what you get, but staff was very nice and the bathrooms/showers were some of the cleanest I've seen.
Location. Pretty level. Very Walkable to town, bike trail, and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Good value. Watch your belongings in the very clean bathhouse. They could improve security with some exterior cameras, and actual doors rather than curtains on their shower stalls. Someone tried to steal pants from the shower stall. Some (very odd and unfriendly) occupants let others into the bathhouse. Not cool, and a security issue. The night we were there there was a domestic disturbance between two separate site occupants. We called the front desk, others (multiple others) called the cops. After that, things were quiet and peaceful. In any town location like this I would be more cognizant to keep things locked up and or put away out of sight. Note that check in is handled in the hotel on the main drag.
