This winter, we're working hard on upgrading our water pipes and clearing new hiking trails, so we're temporarily closed (until 4-4-24) as construction takes place. But you can book now for spring and summer chillaxing! Here at Plum Good Campground, our main goal is helping RV and tent campers have a plum good time in western NY. Formerly Plum Bottom Creek Campground, our 25-site park is set among 34 gently rolling acres of trees and open meadows. All sites have septic, water and electric hook-ups; half are 50 amps, half are 30 amps. We've also got indoor showers and toilets for tent camping convenience. Outdoor dining area and pavilion provide ample space for parties, weddings, reunions, classes and more. Spring-fed pond and hiking trails give campers many on-site options for nature walks among wildlife. Indoor rec room and outdoor covered porch host live music and dancing beginning in summer 2024 - that's also when our cafe opens full time. But if you hunker down this spring at the campground, we'll serve up fresh hot French press coffee, local wine and beer, and whatever Chef Scotty's cooking in the crockpot. Call now for good ol' fashioned hospitality - and enjoy extended-stay discount rates, too!
We have been on the road for almost 4 months. This campground is the closest thing to home that we have found! Scotty is the best host. So nice and peaceful. We will definitely be back in 2024. Looking forward to seeing you in Missouri, Scotty!
Had a great time at Plum Bottom Campground. It is located within close proximity to many New York state forests that I hunted grouse in. I was so happy to find a place still open the last week of October. I took a walk around the grounds with my dogs and saw this beautiful pond that I am including a picture of. Thanks Mike!
This place was nice and quiet. Very roomy sites with full hookups. The host was very friendly and easy to get along with. This will definitely be a location I will return to!
I'll try to be fair with this review. There are some good points to share - the campground is secluded and peaceful; the sites are spacious. The owner was accomodating in changing our reservations. However, it goes downhill from there. The camp office is literally a bar with no resemblance of an actual camp office. Our site was entirely lawn without a dedicated gravel area for the camper. Our site had two significant tire ruts running through the middle of it, which created an ankle hazard. The bath house had double duty - a bath house with showers AND the restroom for the bar. We had a full hookup site; the sewer tie in was a vertical pvc pipe with a rock on top as a cap. Now for the worst thing, the potable water. The host opened the hose bib and the water looked more like chocolate milk rather than drinking water. He said it would clear up soon. We left it run for several minutes, and it improved to look more like swamp water. There was no way we were using that water. In fact, the quality of the water was highly visible in the bathroom, where the water had the facilities tarnished brown.
Great hidden camp that's peaceful and secluded, friendly Owners and Staff that are sure to fill all accommodations, staff makes sure u have plenty of fire wood for ur camp, dogs had a great time. Bar/restaurant is a great place for the family to socialize and enjoy the entertainment. Full hook ups and huge sites that must be about 50x75 to accommodate tents to class As. Absolutely will be back alot as we love the hiking trails and wild life in the area..
