About Campground

It Started With a Sunset

Painted Hills began as an idea to create a place where nature and beauty are all around and you can easily disconnect from the constant distractions. We believe that being immersed in nature is restorative for mind and body alike, and we wanted everyone to be able to experience revitalization in nature. Located near Brian Head Ski Resort, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Bryce Canyon National Park, you will be surrounded by hills that produce one of the most beautiful and colorful sunsets that make it our favorite place to be.

We’re close to Bryce Canyon, Brian Head, Zion, and so much more. You can find guided tours, outdoor activities, great food, or even explore at your own pace.

Our Mission is to Share the Beauty of Southern Utah

At Painted Hills RV Park, our goal is simple: to share the natural beauty that’s been our refuge for decades. We wanted find the middle ground where you can come to disconnect and enjoy the desert beauty while still making it easy to get here.

In the heart of a little town with so much around to do! It’s a really nice and clean tv park and hope to make this stop one of our stops we make when we come out this way. The gentleman who helped us was super nice and gave all the great places to see! I would recommend this place!

The park is very new, the owner is great and the spaces are large with full amenities. Unfortunately there is no shade. Beware of the river rock which the sites are on. It’s a little difficult to walk on. Maybe over time it will smooth out a bit. The only suggestion I would make is a light at the sign on the road. It’s very difficult to see in the dark. But the location was great and we enjoyed our stay.

God blessed my wife and me by finding Painted Hills RV! The owner is extremely helpful and this RV park is exceptional.

The sites are easy in and easy out! The power poles and water hookups are perfectly positioned midway on the sites, which is great for rigs of all sizes!

The office, laundry, bathrooms and showers are spotless!!

We highly recommend Painted Hills RV!!

Great park! This park is a gem, the sites are clean and super easy in and out. They are all pull thru sites which makes hooking up a breeze, the hook ups are strategically located and in perfect position. We traveled with our small dogs and had lots of room to walk and plenty of drop sites for pet waste. The dog park is under construction but I'm sure will be as great as the rest upon completion. They are still working on many other additions and we are looking forward to coming again! Highly recommend!!

We stayed here during the annular eclipse and it was a wonderful experience. The bathrooms and showers are very nice and clean! The wifi was excellent, we were able to stream football with no issues at all. All hookups worked as expected. It is a brand new RV park with great plans for the future. This is a great location because it is centrally located with lots of attractions less than 1 hour away. Scott was very helpful in telling us great ideas for hikes and attractions in the area that are good for young families with children. We will definitely be back someday.
