We stayed at Cedar Canyon Retreat RV Park in Cedar City Utah from May 21 to June 4, 2023. When we arrived, we noticed that the internal roads were a little tight for our long 5th wheel, but we were able to manage.

Our designated site was #7, a gravel pull-through featuring full hook-ups. To our surprise, this site accommodated our 5th wheel, truck, and extra car with a little room to spare. However, it's worth mentioning that site #7 boasts a subtle curvature and is not entirely level and will require the use of leveling blocks. One thing we found awkward is that the fire pit and picnic table for this site were positioned in front of site #8, creating a somewhat unconventional layout. It didn’t really give you a sense of privacy. Also, Site 8’s fire pit is positioned to the end of site 7, which ended up being right next to our bedroom window, so we couldn’t have our windows open to cool down our room at night when they had their campfires going.

The Park's facilities included private restrooms, showers, complimentary Wi-Fi, a recreation area, and a small on-site convenience store. It's worth noting that there is just a solitary trash can, located near the park's entrance across the street. While the park is welcoming to canine companions, it does not provide a designated dog enclosure. However, the ample open spaces in the vicinity offer plenty of room for exploration and exercise.

One of the most memorable and enchanting aspects of our stay was the occasional visits from exquisite moths, which graced our family with their presence on three separate occasions. These delicate creatures added an extra layer of charm to our stay, providing unique moments to unwind and connect with nature while enjoying the splendid surroundings and views.

When we were getting ready to depart, we found that our only option to maneuver out of the site due to the curve, the size of our 42’ Fifth wheel, and the close occupied adjacent sites, was to back up onto the main internal road. We had to laugh as we noticed we had an audience watching to see if we could maneuver out. Thankfully my husband and I are experienced at moving our rig out of uneasy spots, so we had no problems getting out.

I think this small park is a good option for weekend visits, due to the convenient location for a variety of surrounding attractions.

We got into town late and found this place. Some of the tent sites were available still so we ended up grabbing one. The location is great and not too far from Cedar City (about 10 minutes). The bathrooms and showers are an amazing addition as well and really helped out having.

My husband and I rented a campsite on September 6th. The communication from Rachel was great! We arrived after hours, but she reached out and sent us a highlighted map to get us directly to our site! The campsite and bathrooms were very clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our two week stay at this RV Park. Our site was nice & private compared to a typical RV Park and the views were great. The location is great for visiting the nearby National Parks & Forest Service/BLM areas. It is right next to a fairly busy highway, so don't expect it to be super quiet. Better than being in town or along a freeway, however. The traffic tapered off significantly in the evenings. Definitely will stay again.

Spend a night during winter camp in RV place #2, overall great place, very close to road and our favorite place Wood Ranch. Place was nice and easy to connect the power. Close to shower/bathroom rooms which are clean and nice to use. Kids loves your game room. Very quiet, beautiful nature. Thanks for our weekend! We definitely be back.
