This 1200 acre property used to be the beautiful Cherokee Ridge Girl Scout camp until it was sold in 2019. We have went through extensive renovations and development to bring this property to the public so that it can be enjoyed by our guests. River access and our private gravel/sand bars are available exclusively to our guests and have provided some of the most peaceful weekends imaginable.
We have everything from glamping tents right on the river bluff to 16 fully equipped cabins with hot tubs overlooking the 23 acre lake with a beach and activities.
We have 4 Conestoga Wagons that are heated and air conditioned complete with picnic table and fire ring. A must see!
46 RV sites with picnic tables fire/grill pits with a variety of 30 and 50 amp pull-through and back-in sites. We offer float trips, rental boats/paddle boards for the lake, and rental golf carts to adventure around the park.
The park is going through endless development to continue to provide everyone with the most enjoyable and peaceful vacation possible.
1/2 mile past Sam A Baker state park on the right, turn right onto county road 318. Continue for an additional 1 1/2 miles until camp entrance is seen on the right.
Our family stopped for two nights at Otahki Lake as we were traveling through the area. We will definitely be back to visit for a longer stay! The lake was beautiful and fun for the kids to swim. The river access is stunning and quiet. Everyone that was working at the camp was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and worked perfectly for our family of 5. I can't wait to visit again!
We absolutely love this place. We went three times this year and every time the staff has been so kind. Facilities are very clean and maintained well. If you get a clear sky at night the sky view with the stars is beyond words.
Outstanding staff! Amazing Facilities. We loved our cabin, with an amazing Hot tub, and matching bath robes with the camps insignia. Our beds were amazing, and our camp site was spacious, and private.
Campground was very picturesque, plenty of trails to hike without eaving the property (including to the river). Its very nice that the campground isnt in the city, giving yo rest and relaxation. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Even though it is a newer campground they are well on there way to being the best in the Ozarks!
This place is a hidden gem! The views from the campground were stunning, it was so peaceful and serene! The river access was great. Recommend renting a golf cart because it is easier to get around and one river access is not accessible by car or truck. What impressed me most was the hospitality! They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay! We encountered multiple staff members and everyone was more than courteous, they make you feel like family (makes sense since it is family owned!). Walt and Tammy are the hardest working campground hosts I’ve ever met, but they are hard working because it is clear they enjoy what they do and want the guests to enjoy themselves. Don’t pass up a chance to stay here whether you bring your RV or stay in one of the many lodging options available! They have various events throughout the year all of which sound fun, we didn’t partake the weekend we were there because we were swept away by the ability to relax in the river. They even put on an interactive Wizard of the Ozarks skit for the kiddos in the fall (check it out on YouTube, Morgan can SING!) We plan to make this an annual destination at a minimum!
