Great camping spot. Dry camping, there is stock water and bathrooms. Decent corrals and lots of good trails.

What a beautiful campground. Even in a drought, this is second only to Paradise. Up in the high Cascades, this park backs up to Howard Prairie Reservoir and accepts tents and horses, including having corrals for the horses. Primitive camping, so be prepared to pack in - pack out. Then come and enjoy!

We then traveled to a campground called Lily Glen campground near Ashland Oregon. Such a pleasant surprise when we arrived it was very easy to get our huge trailer into the campground and it was wide open with a beautiful Meadow where we were able to tie out our horses.. And the trails were amazing and well marked with horseshoes on the trees painted Orange and there were additional trails that went around and met up.. The 1st day we went to the left of the lake like a fairytale...beautiful. To cap off the evening we allowed the dogs off leash to sensorize the horses running around them at 30 miles an hour!
