Excellent campsites and campgrounds. The main area provides a little store with amenities and showers & laundry. You can also rent fishing boats or paddle boards, or use one of their many boat dock loading areas for your own toys. Although all the toilets were pit style, they were very well maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. *Side note* I wished there was a trash can in the women's restroom for feminine products. The campground is family, dog, animal, any kind of group friendly. My dad and I enjoyed our days on the lake kayaking and spent our nights by the nice fire pits. I know they are getting the thatching ants under control, but they really don't bother you if you stay out of their path. I also would advise a netted canopy to go over the provided picnic table. I will definitely be planning another trip here. Thank you Crane Prairie!

Hadn't been there in 20 years really improved. I actually ran into an old bff of 25 yrs ago and my son and grandson visited. I left early bc of cold. One huge thing I wished was disabled sites were minimal and the price for a disabled person should be less

Love this place!

Unfortunately there was fires the last two years I booked trips in the summer for.

This last summer I was NOT fully refunded for canceling.

I should have been. The smoke was absolutely terrible and high on the index as dangerous.

My parents go here every single year for 10+ years. They love it! It’s a beautiful drive, plenty of lakes all around but this camp site has great views and damn good camp hosts. I appreciate them! Plus can’t beat the public showers!!

It was a beautiful place to camp except for the mosquitoes. I'm use to mosquitoes while camping but this place had billions of them. We couldn't drive with the windows down cause there would be swarms of them inside. Plus waking up in the mornings to find everything covered in dead mosquitoes. Plus the showers and the toilets were the showers are was just disgusting. It didn't look like anything had been cleaned in several yrs.
