So clean!! Peaceful...and the campground area is perfect....Highly recommend this place for fun...
Just an hour from Shawnee and one of Oklahoma's hidden jems, swimming, hiking, camping, disc golf, boating, fishing & more at this beautiful clear water lake.
My ex husband, kids and me spent many summers out at Stroud Lake so many wonderful memories. Now our kiddos are all grown. I will be making a trip out soon to reflect on the wonderful times I've had and make more method my own!! The areas are well kept and folks are always so courteous. I'm thankful to have such a beautiful place to unwind and recoup!!
Went this last weekend for the occra race and the place was top notch clean! Every morning a gentleman showed up at the shower house to clean before everyone even got up and about, and when he was done it actually smelt clean. Cool place to go hang out and enjoy the water.
If you’re camping with a RV a few things to note:
-water is on only during peak camping season (to avoid busting in the colder months)
-there is no sewer dump on your campsite. (there is one when you go to leave by the bathroom area)
-you cannot reserve a spot online. It’s first come, first serve. (payment usually is collected the next morning by park ranger)
My family and I love camping here overall! The trails and disc golf course do have ticks so bring off spray. The park ranger is a super nice guy and you see the updates added to the place regularly!
