Camped here, it was ok. No parking near your campsite so you have to chug your stuff from a far away parking spot. Grass was so tall they had stickers everywhere. Idk who camp host is but there lazy. Bathrooms were terrible and showers also. Someone needs to clean them. Also played horse shoes and was not mowed also
The handicap concrete trails at the South Dam site are dangerously in need of major concrete repairs! The handrails have fallen off the wood bridge! Also, during the summer, the trail gets overgrown with weeds. With tics about this is not good for small children. (see photos) One positive is that the campsites are great and the restrooms are always well maintained thanks to the lake staff and camp host.
SPOT #5DT12, Great camping area, clean, quiet, restrooms/showers little walk, tiny HIKE down to swimming area, close to the boat dock and parking, picnic table, grill and playground near by. #5DT12
